Verdi Gzira Promenade

Everything. The staff on arrival were so helpful, giving out guides, pointing out bus stops, ferry etc. The room was lovely, I had a sea view which was stunning. It was my birthday during my stay and they made a cake out of towels & decorated my room with balloons. Lovely touch. The location was great, walk to the ferry is under 10 mins, less than 4 euro to get across to Valletta which is also less than 10 minutes or you can buy a weekly pass for public transport for 19 euro. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant opposite called Punto and also Felice. Lots of bars and restaurants near by and shops. Felt very safe as a female solo traveller.

+ huge bathroom, comfortable shower, good hairdryer + spacious room with a table for comfortable work + safe available + there is one backup 220 V socket and a usb socket, for the rest you need an adapter + the hotel has a free sauna (must be booked 10 minutes in advance) + there are towels near the pool, but to the sea you need to take your own; + there are books to read at the reception and by the pool + to Valletta ferry (runs every half hour) by foot 7 minutes or you can take a taxi to Valletta almost same time

The location was perfect. The hotel faced the main harbour and Valletta, and was directly opposite the harbour promenade, which provided a nice level walkway for a pleasant stroll and easy access to the Valetta ferry, only a 5-10 minute walk. We found this much better than Valetta, which is exceptionally hilly. The ferry runs every 30 minutes and takes 5 minutes to cross. Also, it only charges 4.5 euro for a return ticket, so cheap and convenient for a visit to Valetta. The room was very nice with a balcony and well equipped with toiletries, tea & coffee facilities, bathrobes, etc. All the staff were pleasant and very polite. Giuseppe in particular was extremely nice and very helpful.

The view from the room was amazing we were on the 10th Floor in a superior room, perfect for people watchers . Bed really comfy , bathroom spacious and modern . The manager Mark was very knowledgable about visiting the top sights and shared this knowledge with passion .

The location of the hotel was excellent for transport links, there were plenty restaurants, cafes and bars around the area, we had a room with a balcony and a lovely view of the marina, staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, they had information regarding the local area and further afield. the breakfast had something for everyone.
